Responding on Climate Change

Studies of the Earth show that climates have changed over time. An area's distance from the equator is one of the factors that determines its climate. Climate factors such as average temperature , precipitation and wind patterns affect the kinds of plants that live in an area. The continents have not always been located in the positions they are today. In the past several continents have been joined or located somewhere else on the surface.
